MAKE A DIFFERENCE - Joy of Giving

Lend a Hand

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Want to protect a child? Help her become stronger.
Improve children’s self-defense skills by supporting Mission 1000!

Everyday, girls in India are confronted with sexual abuse and threats to their safety. Mission 1000 drives Colorss Foundation to protect them by equipping 1000 girls with self-defense skills. With your help, we aim to offer free of charge workshops to female children. Read on to know more about Mission 1000 and how you can make a difference!

What is Mission 1000?
Mission 1000 is an initiative that:
  • Teaches self-defense skills to female children in urban and rural areas
  • Is conducted by a reputable and experienced Karate trainer that has taught over 600 students
  • Provides free of charge workshops to not financially burden children

How will Mission 1000 Protect Children?
With your help, Mission 1000 can protect children by:
  • Teaching girls important techniques to defend themselves in vulnerable situations
  • Reducing the insecurity faced by girls in public
  • Empowering girls to boost their self-confidence
  • Increasing the girls’ awareness of their surroundings
  • Making girls physically stronger and more responsive to threats

How can I make a difference?
Mission 1000’s latest initiative is to conduct a workshop to teach 50 girls. This can only be possible with your assistance.

We would appreciate it if you could help us by supporting the cost of a ten-day self-defense workshop by contributing 900Rs to educate one child, or any other amount suitable for you.

Great, what do I have to do?
Drop an email to our Founder, Anand Koti, at contact@colorss.org, with the subject heading “Make a Difference”. We will excitedly read your email and gladly get back to you with instructions and to thank you for your outreach!
