Is the destination South India

My trip to south India was really beautiful. I went after 10 years to my village Belgaum; the feeling of oneness could be felt once you step on the ground. The red soil and its beautiful energy brings the place more close to heart. It is summer time even though the climate is favorable. The temperature is somewhere around 35-38 degree Celsius. The cool breeze in the evening and till early morning lifts the soul to eternity.

Located at 4 hours from GOA this place has its own identity and presence. The huge old trees speak about the beauty of place and its witness to the slow change of the city. The city itself is small, less of traffic and pollution. It has a huge presence of military campus. Discipline and time management can be seen frequently. Having few couple of very good colleges and infrastructure the city is slowly developing.

When I came here and settled down at home the smell of red soil, tall serene coconut trees, attitude of people and the environment made me feel comfortable and relaxed. It made me feel at home, the place accepted me the moment I landed. There is something sacred of this place that now keeps pulling me again and again.

The south Indian food, I am crazy for it. Idlis, dossa and wada these are the common food items for break fast, always served hot and tasty. The tasty sambhar and chutney (made of coconut) is delicious. There are so many different varieties of dossa’s available. This breakfast can make you so full that may be you have to skip the lunch. Rice and Sambhar for lunch and breakfast is delicious, served hot with couple of teaspoons of ghee. It makes it more delicious. Everything is available over here to eat. These are some of my favorites thought of describing it.

This place has got everything that is required for a beautiful orphanage. I did take the opportunity to see couple of plots and talk with some people. Now this was not planned it all happened like an event that was planned. This place is more than 1200 kms away from where I am located. When I was talking about the plan and children, there was a different me altogether. Could feel lot of love and energy coming out. Yes, indeed this place is really sacred. I look forward to visit soon with project proposal.

What’s so sacred about the place? I have mentioned this twice and you must be still wondering! I need to think how to describe it. I like this place because
-The climate is favorable and really beautiful
-Summers are pleasant
-Monsoon are regular and normal
-Winter not soooo cold
Summary, the climate is not in extreme. Its favourable and is not at all depressing. The red soil makes it more energetic. The evening and morning atmosphere is very good for therapies and mediation.

The food is healthy and rich
-Healthy and rich diet
-Water is easily digestible and has rich mineral content.
-Climate makes the digestion easy
-Vairtey of food items makes you love this place more

People are helpful and educated
-Most of the people are helpful and educated
-They can easily understand English and hindi
-Couple of good and big colleges of different speciliaty invites students from different states. (this makes the place more attractive and culluturally adaptable) As the student population is high, all the required amenities are easily available as well different food items.

Trasportation and Infrstucture.
-The government bus service is fantastic. If you purchase a ticket for 15rs you can travel in the bus in the entire city for the whole day. Amazing!!!
It has good colleges, which in has lot of youths who are dedicated and interested in volunteering.
-Hospitals and medical college make it more suitable for the projects.
-Military campus makes a difference.

This all and many more that I have not mentioned makes the entire place perfect for orphanage. The first and foremost the environment, helps in promoting mental health.
After staying there for couple of days and analyzing I came to the conclusion that this place helps in promoting mental health. Everything of this place is sacred. If you want anymore information do let me know.

A brief, I can keep talking about it every now and then. What more they have internet cafees from where you can make international call at 3 Rs per min. This is so cheap.

I say it’s a quantum of energy.
