HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY COLORSS!

Colorss Foundation will be reaching another milestone when it celebrates its 7th birthday on 15 September 2015. Over the past six years, Colorss has toiled to raise the quality of living for underprivileged women and children in India. This journey is also marked with joyous events that bring fond memories to the volunteers and beneficiaries of Colorss Foundation alike. Join us as we remember Colorss’ greatest moments in the past year.

Determination Drives Colorss
The idea of Colorss Foundation was first engineered by Anand Koti, who yearned to make a difference in India through martial arts skills. To make an impact in India requires social change, which was only possible through a self-sustaining project and a competent and engaged workforce. Anand then began the task of setting up Colorss Foundation, through an innovative approach of combining martial arts and social development. However, his approach was considered radical by some. Nevertheless, this did not hinder Anand’s determination, which has not faltered since Colorss’ inception. Today, his vision continues to drive the Foundation forward.

Colorss at Six
In its sixth year, Colorss Foundation gained confidence as a non-governmental organisation that helps underprivileged women and children through efforts largely based in Rajupura, Baroda Gujarat and Pune, Maharashtra.

The projects that Colorss has been successfully conducting in its sixth year continue to target various societal issues. To reduce school dropout rate, ‘Colors of Life’ works with children. Meanwhile, ‘Mission 1000’ aims to educate 1000 females on self-defense skills.  This year, Colorss prides itself most on getting ‘Project Urja’ up and running, which grants economic independence to women through vocational training.

Colorss has also been busy with side events such as supporting the celebrations of Dhai Handi, Festival Rakhi and India’s Independence Day. The Foundation also kept the health of women and children in check through conducting an extremely fruitful medical camp.

Help Colorss Reach its 8th Birthday!
As Colorss Foundation celebrates its 7th year, the Foundation hopes to continue helping underprivileged women and children right through its 8th birthday and beyond. As a non-governmental organisation, Colorss relies on donations to implement projects that have positively impacted the lives of women and children.

We can continue our efforts only with your support, which can come in the form of voluntaryassistance or donation of funds, books and other utilities.

Thank you for your help, and for sharing our 7th birthday with us!
