Colorss Participates in Festival Rakhi
Colorss Foundation was honoured to spend Festival Rakhi with
the staff and 5th to 10th grade students of Dr. Ambedkar
Memorial Technical School in Pune. The festival is commonly celebrated on the full
moon day on the Shravan month, which was around the first week of September.

Festival Rakhi, also known as Raksha Bandhan, means “the tie
or knot of protection” in the Sanskrit language. It is commonly a festival that
celebrates love and duty between a brother-sister relationship, whether
relatives or biologically unrelated. During this celebration, the students
celebrated their love and respect for Mother Nature by creating Rakhi (sacred
thread) and tying it around a tree in the school campus.

This festival ensured the active
participation of students in order to bring them closer to Mother Nature. It
also helped instilled in them the importance of Mother Nature and in protecting
the environment.

Festival Rakhi was fully conducted by the school management,
with no contribution from Colorss Foundation. The Foundation thoroughly
appreciated the creativity and enjoyed spending time with the students and
staff during this significant festival.
