We have now successfully completed our 7-day online course for self defense! This project came to life as a result of recent discussions and demonstrations concerning womens’ and girls’ safety on the streets of India. At Colorss Foundation we strongly urge women to be aware of their safety and different ways of protecting themselves. Knowledge is a great weapon!
Find out more techniques on your FB page. This is the 7th self-defense technique for safety |
During a period of 7 days, we posted one step of self protection every day, with step-by-step pictures to demonstrate the process. The response from our followers was excellent, with many people commenting, engaging, and sharing their points of view on the matter. We believe that It is only when awareness is created, when people engage in discussions, and word is spread, that we can start a joint movement to increase the safety for women and girls in India.

Thanks a lot for posting this. Yes, it is the need of the hour, more so for all Women and girls (rather all children) to learn martial arts which instills so much self- discipline and also raises one's self-esteem, sop one can walk and cross the road fearlessly.
I'm glad that my daughter started early when she was barely 4yrs old - she actually first nudged me, then dragged me towards the Shotokan Karate classes in our neighbourhood. She wanted to learn how to kick so high and found the Kathas very wonderful and the White uniform too!
She is now a Blue belt and will be giving the Purple belt exams and has also won Gold and Silver medals in Inter Distt. Championships in Kumite and I know she will go a long way ahead if she practises and perhaps get honors and medals for India (that's her dream) :)
Best Wishes,

Many thanks, you have got it right. Karate instills self-discipline, self-esteem, confidence and keeps the head cool. I am more than happy to know that your daughter is in training and now a Blue Belt. All the very best to her.
Colorss is based in Pune and Baroda.
Look forward to hear you,
Best,
